Assessment & Testing Services
Assessment:
- On-site inspection
- Detailed inspection of all areas for the home including HCAV system, attic, crawlspace, garage, and exterior of the home.
- Inside wall cavity inspections / testing.
Nothing takes the place of a detailed visual inspection of your home. No two homes are identical, and each have their unique characteristics and problems. A detailed visual inspection will attempt to piece together the findings in each unique situation and help to decide where, what, and how to conduct analytical testing. A report can be generated from the inspection, photos, and results from the analytical testing to create a plan of action.

Many times, at first glance the home may look clean and clear of an indoor air quality problem. Since mold, mycotoxins, and allergens are usually hidden, a quick glace usually will not uncover undiscovered hazards. Finding the sources of contamination is essential for good indoor air quality and proper remediation. Mold spores, toxins or allergens are too small to see with the human eye unless there are growing mold colonies. For this reason, analytical testing should be conducted in select places to confirm or deny the presence of elevated mold, toxins, or allergens. Because of the small size of the mold, mycotoxins, and allergens, the contamination can become airborne and settle to other areas of the home away from the original source locations. Analytical testing is recommended if you are trying to find undiscovered mold or mycotoxins, or to see if the toxins or allergens have migrated away from the original source locations.
