I got John's contact info from a friend who has used him for years. And that WAS years ago. I've been using him for several years and he has cleaned many carpets (repeatedly). I have 3 dogs who occasionally will do their business on a very nice persian rug. You have to get the smell out or the rug becomes their personal toilet. Thanks to John for doing the John with a smile and outstanding talent!

Its all about service and quality. John and his team may not be the least expensive, but their service and attention to detail is bar-none. Prior to the job, John went over with us all of our options and explained pros and cons and explained the cost breakdown. They cleaned our carpets, cleaned our tile grout and cleaned all our windows. The results were outstanding.

I can not recommend John Watt and Good Housekeeping highly enough. I had been sick, bed ridden, and debilitated for two years with Biotoxin illness. Once mold was discovered at my residence I decided to move to an affordable mold free one, I decided to call John upon the recommendation of a friend. John is intelligent, a forensic scientific mold & mycotoxin and building expert and is one of the kindest people ever. He came to my rescue and got me in immediately, inspected the home I had been living in - visually and with his amazing high level device identified the disrepair and had high toxin black mold.

He remediated with his various treatments but mainly chloride dioxide; I did not have to throw any possessions away. I moved into a pristine  remediation. After 3 weeks I was out of bed, my debilitating symptoms started improving. After two months I started functioning again a John and his treatments are the wave of the future.

Thank you John. You are literally a life saver.

Feelin’ Groovy! The French drains have kept my crawlspace dry as a bone and you bad ass vapor process has worked wonders! I feel so healthy I got a junior high hair cut and joined a fitness club, mainly to age injury-free. Fingers crossed that the magic continues.
My sister in Half Moon Bay has plans to deal with her water issues and then call you to get her home treated.

Just the best! I have been in my home for over 35 years and ever since I found Good Housekeeping, John has been cleaning my carpets and windows. He is extremely personable, prompt, efficient and reliable.

I am a licensed daycare provider and work with children in my home. John and I were talking one day and he told me about a Bioprotection Treatment that he started using that might help with the children's allergies. The treatment can be used indoors and will eliminate pollen, dust mites, mold, odors, bacteria and viruses and germs. I just had to give it a try. We were not sure it would work long term since I use the garage as a playroom for the children. John came over one morning and treated the garage and then came back later that day. I was amazed that in the weeks following the treatment, my allergies were better and I noticed a definite difference in the children as well. One or two of the children always had constant runny noses, and suddenly their noses stopped running. Wow! What a difference. So, I will be calling John out again in the future to schedule another sanitizing treatment. When you work with children, we do the best we can to keep our home sanitary.

John Watt with Good Housekeeping is fabulous! Arrived on time and is very professional and friendly. He cleaned my 20 year old sofas and they are almost like new (they are 20 years old after all). I found John through my realtor Greg Celotti (fabulous, fabulous realtor by the way) when I moved to the Peninsula several years ago. I will gladly use John (and Greg) again if/when I have the need. Good Housekeeping definitely needs to change their name....to GREAT HOUSEKEEPING. I give this company 5 stars as they not only met my expectations but truly exceeded them! They made my 8 year on stained sofa truly look like NEW and did some kind of magic on my white doggie urine stained carpet that other cleaning companies have tried to clean but never succeeded. They have a wonderful can-do attitude and are true professionals who are respectful, prompt, hardworking, focused on doing the job above and beyond and next step..I'm having them back to work on our hardwood floor stairs for full restoration. An A+ company!

From the first time John and Good Housekeeping took our call, the customer service was exceptional. John was patient, kind, and spent an ample amount of time speaking to us about the best treatment for our home and situation.

After nearly 3 months of suffering from unbearable hives due to an unknown toxin/allergy source in our home, John and his team did a chlorine dioxide treatment to our entire house, attic and cars. We were able to plan and schedule the treatment within a couple of days, and as soon as it was complete, I no longer feel activated by my house!

I truly appreciate everything from John and Good Housekeeping - from responding so quickly, to working so hard, and being so thorough. I'm cautiously optimistic and feel they may have given me respite from something that seemed unending. Would definitely hire again and recommend to anyone!
